Important Booking Notes
If you are planning a trip to Hot Springs Cove, BC Parks requires you to purchase a BC Park access fee from us if you are 6 years of age or older. If there are any children in your group you must tell us how old they are.
Fuel Surcharge
A fuel surcharge may apply to all fares.
Online Booking Form
When booking online your credit card will be charged immediately. Please use the comment field to provide us with more information. If you travel with a cell phone, that number can be useful incase we need to contact you. Also, the name of your accommodation in Tofino and your arrival and departure dates/times. If there are any small children in your group please tell us how old they are.
Special Considerations
These trips may not be suitable for pregnant women or those with serious back and neck problems. Please let us know of any such conditions at the time of booking. The Zodiac may not be suitable for children under 5 years of age.
Age Groups:
Students are 13 – 19 years of age and Seniors are 65+
Confirmation
Reservations will be confirmed within 48 hours of online booking UNLESS you have made your reservation on the weekend. Confirmations are typically not mailed on weekends. If you do not hear from us within 72 hours, please call either our local number 250 725-2866 or the toll free line 1-877-906-2326.
Cancellation Policy for Online Reservations & Telephone bookings:
In the event that Ocean Outfitters must cancel a departure due to weather conditions, you will have first opportunity to reschedule your trip or to collect a full refund. If you decide to change your plans and wish to cancel your adventure, please respect our 48 hour cancellation policy to avoid a charge on your credit card. A telephone call will do.
Where to Meet
Arrival time is typically 1/2 hour before any adventure and the meeting place is at our office 368 Main Street in Tofino. We look forward to your arrival! You may park in our lot or street side parking is available at no charge. The District of Tofino has a pay parking lot 1/2 a block from us on Third Street.
Guaranteed Sightings
We enjoy a very high success rate but weather conditions and nature can be unpredictable. We do not hand out many rainchecks however, if you do not see a whale on your whale watch or a bear on your bear watch, we are happy to offer you a free pass for another time. Our rainchecks are transferable between tours but not refundable for cash. They have no expiry, so hang on to them until your next Tofino vacation!
Infant Fares
Unfortunately we are able to honor only one free seat per tour. We recommend reservations if you are traveling with small children 3 and under or/ if you hope to use a seasonal promotion.
